It came & it went.......

Is it just me or did this year go extremely fast & I am still reeling?? I do not know why time is going so quickly & I want to sit on my kids to stop them growing. I am realising more and more about myself as the time goes on & also about them. They had a ball at Christmas & we had a lovely christmas lunch with my Aunty & extended family. So here is a little recap......some of my favourite shots....

Its all happning.......

so as always it has been super busy around here. The girls are sick again which is frustrating but that's ok as long as they are ok for christmas. It is kind of nice, I like hanging at home so now I have the perfect excuse!! So here is a bit of stuff to share!! This time of year is always busy for us, for some reason we suddenly have a social life!! LOL. It is also at this time that I really miss my bro and his wife (who I love even if she wasn't my SIL) & their kids. I cannot wait to see them next year.

We started with our annual christmas party with Ruth & Kim & the clan on Sat......



Then lunch with the Reids on Sunday......



Been hanging with this girl, so happy to have her home.....


then we had a mini christmas party with Nat, Tola & Ruth, but of course silly me didn't take any photos, I was too busy. There was some beautiful food happening too!! LOL.
Then we have been shopping, cleaning, working, enjoying time with the girls including surfing, card playing, swimming & riding. Hence all the photos are sort of the same so new ones here!!
Caught up with Nate (the girls cousin), as it was his birthday, they are sooo cute together. It has always been a desire of mine to have one big happy family, sometimes I wish I had a magic wand, seriously!! This year we are going to have a family christmas, it hasn't happened in a while. It is kind of bittersweet. Most of the family is coming some not, but the girls & I are excited anyway. I know in my heart that I have tried and am trying. I realise that I cannot control anyone or any situation. I trust that God knows what He is doing & I will leave it up to Him. It is just a desire that has never gone away. I have always tried to bring people together & have everything perfect. Mmmmmm not a perfect world but you know not half bad either. It's awesome.


Then we celebrated Mum's birthday.......


with home made ice cream cake after Indian.......yummo (yes I made it)



So I really have to blog more often as I forget everything that is going on here. Sorry if it has been a bit boring. Will leave you with one of my favourite pages.....

Its beginning to look a lot like Stressmas!!!

LOL just joking, but can you believe it is only 9 days until Christmas.......where has the year gone......where has my time gone. I have to say that this is the most unorganised I have been EVER with Christmas. In saying that here is a snapshot of what we have been up to. Lots of parties, time with family, swimming, riding & just generally having a good time.



I am looking forward to hopefully relaxing over Christmas & getting to see this gorgeous girl!! Can't wait to see you Bx!! Plus my Darling Dad and also Anthony's sister and her husband. That's it for me today, will be back with some shares before Chrissy.

so that is it for today!! Not much really to share from me, but I am trying to keep things updated & not leave it for weeks at a time. We have been really busy with the moving & adjusting to new space. The girls are on holidays and I am loving it. We are painting, swimming, cooking & just generally hanging out.
My bro sent me Season 2 & 3 of Army Wives which I just love, yes I love it. So just been catching up on "stuff". I have my December Daily sitting there waiting to be put together, am making notes etc, but just can't bring myself to cut up the paper. Little Miss Perfect can't seem to start!! LOL
If you do need something over the holidays head here, Heike has a wonderful site with lots of goodies & SUPER fun competitions. One of my beautiful friends is on the DT but apart from that Heike has amazing service, great priced products & really fun challenges. It is my goal to complete some of them LOL.

No Voice, Some Angels, & Holidays........

so amidst having laryngitis, I have had a HUGE week. My girlies finished school I still cannot believe it. I will be a mess when I see them in their uniforms after holidays. We had their awesome concert, both the girls were angels!!! For once as Lucia is a bit smaller, she was in the front row!! Hooray Lulu. It was sooo cute them all singing & telling their story.



Lulu really doesn't like being the centre of attention & hates being on stage (total opposite to Georgie girl LOL) so this was a big thing & she did awesome!!!



So the holidays have come......and guess who came home!!! YAHOO. So happy to have her home. Love you Baboo.


I will be attempting to complete my December Daily and hopefully will have some shots to share. I am so excited about the holidays. We will also be moving (there is always so much going on in my world) stuff around as Mum will be moving out on the weekend. It has been a very emotional couple of days for me. We will miss her heaps.
I did have some other scrapping to share but I really can't be bothered waiting for blogger to upload.........sorry maybe next week. I haven't had heaps of time to scrap but am looking forward to some time to do so. I have also picked up my guitar again so a I have been a bit distracted. This year I am going to do bought cards as I really don't have the head space to make a whole heap. Such a slacker aren't I??!! LOL Be back soon with some stuff!!!
