I am determined to keep up with blogging this year, not a resolution but just a promise to myself to not miss all the little things. I am not a good journaller & reading some of Ali's older posts I realise that I really miss a lot of the stories behind the photos. Although the photos are great I think that we sometimes get caught up in the product & the actual doing rather than the incredible story behind a lot of the photos. So I am trying to start & be more regular & record all the little things in our life. I cannot commit to the 365 project but am going to do my best to keep up to date in our daily life so that the girls have something that they can remember. rather than just a pretty photobook.
The girls constantly crack us up, the things they come up with. Their little minds are like sponges & it is amazing what comes out of their little mouths. I have to remember to type it all, don't worry I won't share everything!!! LOL.
Today very sad Liv now does not call Ariel "ah ah" (this is what she used to call all princess dolls), she now uses the appropriate name for them. So sad, she is starting to talk so much now. She told me today that she is a big girl & "I do it myself" in her cute baby talk. OMG she makes me want to cry,so independant. Not so much so with the toilet though.Goes like this:
Mummy: said if you are a big girl you do poos on the toilet......
Liv: I am a big girl she says,
Mummy: well big girls do poos on the toilet,
she looked at me & said put my nappy on I a baby!!!! So funny!!!
I think she is 2 going on 20.
Lucia told me I was a stepmother & I was disgusting!!! (she had been watching Cinderella) well that went down real well. She was not happy that their computer game & TV got confiscated as they were fighting. I said back to her, that's ok Mummy loves you & you still aren't having the computer game or TV.
Georgia just tries to negotiate & put on a sullen face thinking that it will manipulate me, even though she knows I ain't budging!!!
Some days it is a constant battle but others just a delight. I try to remember those times & not get too weary with the consistency & discipline. Some days I would just like to let it go, but I know that I will pay for it later on!!!
So here are some photos of the girls from Amy's party, Rach & Mitch bought their two little puppies Cooper & Chopper & of course the girls loved them. I don't mind animals, just not in my house, but the girls LOVE them. Anything they love & will want to pat. Today the puppies just slept in their laps & totally chilled. The girls were stoked. They were pretty cute. Silly me (who is probably pining for another baby) agreed to babysit them in a couple of weeks. I always think it is easier if they are someone elses LOL.....not much else to share at the moment. Love Me xx
PS. I did go & see Twilight with this gorgeous girl & have to say I am totally hooked!! Must be my preteen-premenopausal stage!!!

The Little Things.......
well today started off ok, feeling a bit under the weather so stayed home all day. Just ducked out to get milk. Anyway Liv was down for her nap & the other girls were playing quietly drawing etc.....it is not often that I catch a nap as I tend to try & spend time with the older girls or get stuff done around the house. Well today I lay down & heard my little treasures totter off into the kitchen. I heard a bit of banging around & decided that they knew the boundaries so would just wait it out (Mind you the kitchen is usually out of bounds).
It was the cutest thing. Georgie & Lulu had decided to whip up this dessert for after dinner that night, a REAL TREAT for Mum & Dad. Little teddy biscuits with chocolate eclair lollies covered in Choc Mint Ice Magic. Mmmmmmm.
So ingenious & thought out. Well I didn't get a photo (quite mad at myself) but they had a plate of these little treasures (Georgies recipe) in the freezer just waiting for us to demolish them. I have to say they were DELICIOUS & the girls were so happy that we liked them. They are gorgeous little things, some days I have to remember to not give myself a hard time about being perfect & just enjoy the amazing little girls that I have!!! Me xxx

She Turned 1............So Much Fun
This gorgeous girl turned 1 on Thursday & we went to her party today. The girls love Amy, she is such a delightful little girl. She was quite overwhelmed by it all but handled it all wonderfully. Although we don't spend heaps of time together I love that this is my family!!! Happy Birthday sweetheart, can't wait to see you grow & be part of your life. The girls now have 2 cousins to play with (inc Ellie)!!! Love Me xx

Some More Shares.........
I would have shared this earlier but this gorgeous friend of mine had made a few for people & I didn't want to ruin it for everyone else, plus as you know my blog & scrapping etc has really suffered over this period as we have had so much going on (plus have been trying to spend quality time with the family). This is what she gave me for christmas. Not only is she so generous but knows me so well. I loved it all. I always look forward to our regular morning teas & chats & our shares with everything from scrapping, kids to sewing!! She has been the one that inspires me when I lose my mojo LOL. She is really talented (although am still trying to convince her of that) & I love all the stuff she does.
I have attached a photo of my present plus also my little collection of these figurines. Everybody who knows me finds this quite funny as I am really not a clutterbug or ornament type person. I am definately a minimalist!!! I have found myself relaxing in this with sentimentality taking over that as I get older.
Not much else to tell, am so far behind on blogging that I don't think I will catch up. Will post my December Daily soon (when it is finished LOL) & some other things.

Just to Share......
Look what this gorgeous girl bought me for Christmas.....she knows me so well & this book is beautiful!! It has started my bug for sewing again. It is an organic, french sewing book. What else can I say....love this woman!!!
I also got this......
isn't it cute??
This will just be a quick one as my days at the moment have been limited on the computer. My Dad is visiting & we are trying to spend time all together & get things done around the house!! I have also just put some of my DT stuff below. Heaven Sent is an amazing website you should go check it out. Ingeborg (my ever patient & understanding boss) runs a tight ship that has lots of exciting comps etc going. This month for January we have a great comp going for a $25 voucher, so go & have a go. Love Out Me xx

A New Year........with New Resolutions......HAH
Well it has been an interesting start to the year..... I started this blog mainly for my fam in the USA & also for people to view my scrapping (for DT work).....I have been pretty slack & after reading my darling SIL blog (that she started for us too) I am challenged to actually write things down about the kids. I have been trying to write them down when they say them in my journal but most people who know me know I DON'T JOURNAL!!! I just don't have the time & really before now haven't had the inclination, all that time & feelings etc LOL. Plus I was very cautious about putting my true feelings out there on a blog for everyone to see. So everytime I read her posts I just crack up & realise that our kids are somewhat similar (it might have something to do with my crazy brother & me being related plus the other parent is hilarious as well). They seem to have such character!!! Go here if you want to check it out. I adore these guys & some days I get so sad missing their lives (so thanks Kaz I LOVE IT!!!) Anyway onto some sharing......Christmas was crazy yet relaxing all rolled into one.....is that possible??? Every day the kids seem to just crack me up laughing!! Little Liv is definately our clown......she has started folding her arms & walking away saying huhmmm with a little toss of her head mmmmm wonder who she is copying!!! I think God knew that having kids a little later I would have the confidence to deal with them properly. I am half mad half laughing at her cause she is so dang cute & she is the same as Jentzen when she is going to get in trouble she will do something funny to take your attention off that fact that you are mad or try to kiss you & say lub you Mama!!! They have been constantly in the pool as here in Oz it is boiling hot.....so while you guys are trying to get warm over there we are sitting in air conditioning or being beached whales in the pool....
The other day the kids were watching Lazy Town, which is this pretty cute show about Sporticus (he is really fit only eats fruit & vegies & is an amazing acrobat) they just love it....it is a mixture of puppets & real people. Sporticus actually really reminds us of our French friend Yves as he can never sit down & is always doing something.....anyway on this one episode they are trying to make him take a vacation, (just for 1 day mind you)& buy him a deck chair & get him some music & a book (heaven that sounds like to me) well he can't sit still & says I just can't do this sit around all day doing nothing (in a french accent) I need to do something....well the girls turned around to me & said Oh Mummy you could do that all day couldn't you.....you would love it!!! Gee whizz I think they think I am the lazy half of this relationship!!! It was so funny!!! well the darling other half thought so too......he cracked up laughing......hence they also bought me a huge inflatable lounge for the pool with drink holders & everything.....I mean what are they trying to say to me!!!!
So my posts won't be as funny as my american counterparts but I won't try & compete cause seriously their writing is so much more interesting, but I decided that there is things I miss in scrapping that really I should put on here so the girls know just how good things were when they were little, how much I loved them & was scared that I was doing a good job, that I had taught them enough, that I had set an example that was worth following. My heart for each of my girls is that they will be confident in themselves & who God has made them to be, want to come home for dinner every weekend just to hang with Mum & Dad, that they will find men who love God & will treat them right but also bring out the best in them, that they will love each other unconditionally & that they will serve God with all their hearts. I know I will make mistakes with them, I will probably cry over them & for them & I know that there will be hard times & good times, but most of all I want for them to have a loving stable family & enjoy the simple things in life. Well that is my deep post for today. Love Out Me xx
